Instructions

We hope you find this system easy and intuitive to use, but if you require guidance, we’ve included some pointers.

  1. Give yourself plenty of time before the concert. In real life, you’d arrive 15 minutes before a concert, and we suggest settling in with a similar amount of time for these concerts too.
  2. Make sure you’re logged in to the site. If there is a gold “My Account” button at the top of the page, you are logged in. Otherwise click on “Sign in” at the top instead and enter you email and password.
  3. Navigate through to the right concert.
  4. Half an hour before the event you will see a “Watch now” button, click that, and then you can put on the kettle!

When the stream starts

  1. The stream and video should automatically start.
  2. When it has, if you wish, you can make it full screen by clicking the button.
  3. If you have an AirPlay device such as an Apple TV you can stream the video to it by clicking the button, or the gold button which says "Stream to Airplay Device". Note you need to be using the Safari browser in order to do this.
  4. If you have a Chromecast device you can cast the video to it by pressing the button. Note you need to be using Google Chrome to see this button.
Sound
You’ll enjoy the concert best with a pair of good quality headphones, but your normal speakers on your device will be fine.
Devices
You don’t need to install anything to watch this concert. Providing you are on a ‘modern’ browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge then the platform will work fine. You can also watch on a smart phone or tablet.
Stuttering video
If you find the video is stuttering (buffering) then sometimes refreshing the page will help.
Can’t make it?
If you can’t make the concert after all then don’t worry. You will be able to rewatch the concert within a 24 hour period at a time that’s more suitable to you.
